Individual Summer Support Sessions for Movers, Creatives, Caregivers & Seekers
Here in June, I’ve been spending time in Michigan with family, and it's been a mix of celebration and illness, as family and travel so often are. In between it all, I’ve been catching myself… trying to be outside more, scrolling less. Having mood dips from too much screen time is very real. Feeling under the weather had me reaching for my phone even more.
A friend recently asked, “Do you wake up and scroll social media?”
Yeah… I do. But I have been working on using replacement actions, not too. What about you? Let me know how you break your “scroll cycle.”
Grief, silence, or loneliness can feel heavy, and stacking that with the endless stream of suffering online, well, it bakes right into your nervous system. Speaking of baking, I’m convinced the air fryer is just an evolved Easy-Bake Oven. (Tell me I’m wrong.)
If you’re out on the road touring, or home while someone you love is, maybe you’re also caught in that social media spiral, looking for connection in the scroll. It’s familiar, but it’s not always nourishing.
That’s why I offer something more substantial.
These sessions I hold, they’re not therapy. They’re space. Space to breathe. To speak the unspeakable. To not fix or solve, but to be with what’s real.
When I hit burnout after years in Hollywood and self-help overdrive, what shifted me wasn’t another checklist. It was presence. It was learning how to sit with impermanence and discomfort. But first, acknowledging the discomfort without numbing out. Today, that discomfort is the kind that shows up in letting go of a career, a home of nine years, or the new ache in my wrist that wasn’t always there.
Now, I support artists, therapists, introverts, and neurospicy folks navigating grief, anxiety, creative blocks, and burnout. So I picked a new Squarespace template and hit “update” and am open for sessions! Many have done therapy and are looking for something else, something slower, something intuitive, something attuned.
I’ve sat with people in the middle of grueling music tours, in hospitals, through divorces, pregnancies, and crises. We use mindfulness, deep listening, and a little bit of curiosity. Sometimes, what’s needed is grounding before a flight, in a doctor’s office, after a rough meeting, or during a bout of overwhelm. Other times, yes, a cute animal reel will do the trick.
If this resonates, I have openings for healing sessions, photo sessions, or illustration sessions. During this new journey, referrals are welcome.
We’ll start with a free 20-minute intro call to see if it feels like a fit.
Zoom sessions are available. In-person in LA. And soon, Portland! I’m here when you’re ready.
Warmly,
Sarah
